AIT Inc. (“we”, “us”) sets out the following privacy policy regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the app “SoraShare” (the “App”) that we provide.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects and stores the following information to provide the service.
- Account information: the email address used to sign in, or the identifier and display name provided by Apple / Google Sign-In. Passwords are not stored on our servers; they are managed securely by the authentication provider (Google Firebase Authentication).
- Posted content: photos, captions (comments), and shooting location (if you choose to enter one) that you post.
- Usage data: records of likes, reports, and blocks, and post timestamps.
2. Photos and Face Detection
The App is dedicated to “sky photos with no people in them.” The check for whether a photo you post contains a person’s face is completed entirely on your device (iPhone) (using Apple’s Vision framework). Photos are never sent to our servers or any third party for this check. Only photos you actually post are sent to and stored on the image delivery service Cloudinary for publication (only photos that pass face detection are uploaded).
3. Purposes of Use
- Providing photo-SNS features (posting, viewing, likes, rankings, downloads)
- Keeping users safe (handling reports and blocks, removing content that violates the terms)
- Responding to inquiries and improving the App
4. Provision to and Outsourcing to Third Parties
We do not sell or provide users’ information to third parties without the user’s consent. However, we outsource processing to the following cloud providers to operate the service.
- Google (Firebase Authentication / Cloud Firestore): for sign-in authentication and database management of posts, account information, etc. See Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Cloudinary (Cloudinary, Inc.): for storing and delivering posted photo images. See Cloudinary’s privacy policy at https://cloudinary.com/privacy.
* The App does not use Google’s cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage / Firebase Storage) to store photos. Photos are stored on Cloudinary as described above.
5. User-Generated Content and Safety Measures
The App handles user-generated content (UGC). To provide a safe environment, we offer the following.
- A report feature to flag inappropriate posts
- A block feature to hide users who bother you
- Review of reports and action on content and accounts that violate the terms (in principle within 24 hours of a report)
6. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can delete your account from within the App’s settings. When you delete your account, your data on our database (posts, account information, etc.) is deleted and can no longer be viewed in the App. Note that the image files stored on the image delivery service (Cloudinary) may not be erased immediately at that moment for technical reasons, but we periodically clean up and delete them. You may also contact us at the address below regarding deletion.
7. Advertising
This version (v1.0) does not display ads. If a future version introduces advertising (Google AdMob), an advertising identifier and similar data may be used to deliver ads. In that case we will update this policy and request the necessary consent (tracking permission) within the App.
8. Use by Children
Because the App contains user-generated content, the target age is 17 and over.
9. Revisions
We may revise this policy as needed. If there are important changes, we will notify you within the App or on this page.
